How to Connect a Windows 7 Computer with your FRITZ!Box via WLAN
With the Windows 7 Configuration Wizard it is now even easier to join a WLAN radio network. Here we describe how to establish a wireless connection between Windows 7 and your FRITZ!Box with just a few clicks of the mouse:
- Click the WLAN icon
in the notification area of the task bar.
A window opens in which all of the WLAN radio networks at your location are displayed.

- Click on the name of the WLAN radio network (SSID) of your FRITZ!Box (e.g. "FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7270").
- In the "Security Key" window that opens next, enter the WLAN key of your FRITZ!Box and then click "OK".
NOTE:
Upon delivery (factory settings) the WLAN key is set to the value printed on the sticker on the base of the FRITZ!Box.

- In the "Network Location" window that opens, select one of the suggested locations.
NOTE:
Select the "home network" location if you want to make files and printers available to other Windows 7 computers in the FRITZ!Box network.
Now the WLAN connection will be established and you can establish Internet connections and access all of the services of the FRITZ!Box from your Windows 7 computer.
