	CAPI SoftFax G3 (14,400 bit/s) for fax communication
	CAPI SoftModem V.32bis
	CAPI SoftCompression X.75/V.42bis, a data compression protocol for faster communication

Capabilities of AVM Middleware

The AVM Middleware suite consists of three drivers: the AVM ISDN CAPI Port Driver, the AVM NDIS WAN CAPI Driver and the AVM ISDN TAPI Services for CAPI.

The ISDN CAPI Port Driver  emulates an analog modem, allowing programs designed for modems to communicate using the ISDN-Controller instead.

The NDIS WAN CAPI Driver for Windows permits RAS (Remote Access Service) and dial-up Internet connections over ISDN.

The ISDN TAPI Services for CAPI  is a universal driver to support the use of TAPI-based telephony applications with the ISDN card.
