AVM honored once more for its commitment to IPv6

At the IPv6 Application Contest sponsored by the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam and the German IPv6 Council, AVM emerged victorious in the area of "Best Practices". The organizers lauded AVM for its development of market-ready IPv6 solutions – the latest FRITZ!Box models already support the new Internet standard.

Second IPv6 award for AVM in a month

This award is the second AVM has received for its commitment to IPv6 in a very short time. The ECP-EPN's Netherlands TaskForce IPv6 honored AVM at its annual meeting in November.

IPv6 at AVM

The FRITZ!Box supports both Dual Stack and Dual Stack Lite. In the Dual Stack mechanism, native IPv6 and native IPv4 are negotiated with the Internet provider. In the case of Dual Stack Lite, only native IPv6 connections are established to the Internet provider.
