FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7270: "will prove invaluable for home or small office use."

The Italian computer magazine "PC World" took a closer look at the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7270 and was amazed at how versatile it is: "The engineers at AVM must have set out to design an ADSL router capable of performing nearly every single possible telecommunications function, if not all of them, for home or small office use. In fact, the Fritz!Box 7270 can do so much, it's hard to believe."

The FRITZ!Box's extensive telephone functions in particular met with a lot of enthusiasm. These include:

Two analog connections and one ISDN connection
Internet telephony with up to six accounts
Jacks for six cordless telephones
Integrated answering machine including forwarding of incoming messages by e-mail (voice-to-mail)
Fax transmission and receipt including forwarding of incoming messages by e-mail (fax-to-mail)

All of these features led the editorial staff of "PC World" to the following conclusion: "It is clear that this peripheral is intended primarily to be a telephony solution: but when you take a closer look at everything it has to offer, you begin to understand how incredibly versatile it is."
