CeBIT 2009: AVM Sets Broadband Standards

The new FRITZ!Box brings together all of the key communication functions into a single device: VDSL, ADSL, telephone system, WLAN, DECT base station, gigabit and network storage.

AVM presented the new FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7390 at this year's CeBIT. With VDSL, ADSL, telephone system, WLAN, DECT base station, Gigabit and network storage, the new FRITZ!Box integrates all the most important communication functions in one device. AVM is therefore setting new standards in Internet connectivity and home networking. Broadband connections of up to 100 megabits per second are possible, depending on the network.

Other new products include the FRITZ!Fon MT-F, an innovative DECT telephone offering genuine added value with music and information from the Internet. And with FRITZ! Media 8260, AVM introduced a new streaming client that combines HD playback and an open concept for more content.
