ISDN CAPI Port Driver Now Available for Windows Vista

Now the ISDN CAPI Port Drivers available for free downloading include a driver for Windows Vista (32 bit). The new version 01.04.00 contains a new installer, which facilitates a convenient installation adapted especially to Windows Vista operation. This driver can also be used with Windows XP and 2000.

The ISDN CAPI Port Driver allows even Windows applications designed for operation with analog modems to be used, such as faxing programs and terminal software. A number of "virtual modems" are registered in the system so that fax and terminal software that expect an analog modem can use the AVM ISDN-Controller in the PC.

The virtual modems can be used immediately in the corresponding applications as soon as the easy CAPI Port Driver installation has been completed in Windows. Internet connections can also be configured using special ISDN connections for individual Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Simply configure the required protocols to allow the use of Remote Access Service (RAS) as well.
